CONJUNCTIONS - USAGE

CONJUNCTIONS - USAGE

It is always practice that makes man perfect. Conjunctions are used to join two clauses meaningfully.

So

It was raining.

They did not go out.

It was raining so they did not go out.

Because

It was raining.

They did not go out.

They did not go out because it was raining.

Because it was raining, they did not go out.

Explanation (In Telugu):

(Because= ఎందుకంటే. పైన ఇచ్చిన రెండు sentences లో " It was raining."

ఒకటి; " They did not go out." "They did not go out." అనేది జరగడానికి "It was raining." అనేది కారణం కాబట్టి "It was raining."

But

They want success.

They don't work hard.

They want success but they don't work hard.

Explanation:

“But” joins two sentences. First action comes first and then comes but later comes the second action.

Look at two actions: 1.They attended the function. 2. They were not invited. In the two actions, sentence 2 must come first and sentence must come later.

This translation is not accurate but given for a general understanding.
