SPOKEN ENGLISH FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN

When you start learning a new language, begin with simple structures and put them to use. When they become part of your daily conversation, you need not struggle to remember the structures. Frame your own sentences and get them corrected by your teacher if you need to.

6. దయచేసి పెన్సిల్ ఇవ్వండి.

7. చెట్టు ఎక్కుము.

8. దయచేసి కూర్చోండి.

9. డస్టర్ తీసుకురా.

10. దయచేసి పాఠం వివరించండి.

Exercise 4

Translate the following into Telugu.

1. Build a house.

2. Please solve the problem.

3. Please repair the fan.

4. Take a rest.

5. Switch off the fan.

6. Please draw the triangle.

7. Please help me.

8. Ask a question.

9. Please open the box.

10. Throw the ball.

Day 2

Negative Commands

Pattern 3: Don’t + V1 + Obj / Do not + V1 + Obj.

Exercise 1

Write 10 negative commands.

Example: 

Don't shut the window. 

కిటికీ మూయకు.

Negative Requests

Pattern 4: Please + don’t + V1 + Obj / Please + do not + V1 + Obj.

Exercise 2

Write 10 negative requests.

Example: 

Please don't touch the wire.

దయచేసి తీగను తగలకు.

Exercise 3

Translate the following into English.

1. అబద్దాలు చెప్పకు. 

2. దయచేసి ఎవరిని మోసం చేయకు. 

3. విశ్రాంతి తీసుకోకు. 

4. దయచేసి సమయం వ్యర్థం చేసుకోకండి. 

5. దయచేసి అపరిచితుల్ని నమ్మకండి. 

6. సినిమాలు చూడకండి.
